Overview
UK Airbus Defence and Space Communications Placement (12 months) at Airbus Defence and Space. Start date: 20 July 2026. Location: Stevenage. Duration: 12 months.
What you will be doing
* Developing content for external communications including sourcing content for articles, writing engaging stories for the web and drafting press releases;
* Developing content and ideas for social media;
* Creating presentations and audiovisual material;
* Organising events - for media and customer visits including attending industry exhibitions;
* Contributing ideas for overall UK communications campaigns and monitoring KPIs.
Requirements
* Open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.
* Your application should include a CV along with a Cover Letter outlining your motivation and suitability for the role.
* Studying towards a degree related to Communications, Media, International Politics and Content Marketing.
* Ability to use G Suite.
* Ability to write content in different formats - suitable for the web, social media and media releases.
Security clearance
You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
Benefits
Salary: £23,850
37 hours per week. Flexible working hours. Hybrid working. Half day Fridays. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
