What is the opportunity?
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Wealth Paraplanner to support the team of Wealth Managers across our Leeds office.
As a Paraplanner, you will have a broad understanding of core Financial Planning solutions and continue to build on existing knowledge through exposure to complex client planning scenarios. You will analyse our clients' aims and needs to construct solutions as a tool for advisors to communicate to clients.
We are looking for someone with significant previous experience as a Paraplanner, with strong technical knowledge in complex advice areas, who can act as a support to more junior members of the team.
RBC’s expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.
What will you do?
* Provide appropriate support to Wealth Managers.
* Production of robust financial plans and analytical information in support of Wealth Managers under supervision of more senior team members.
* Facilitate the smooth processing of new and existing business.
* Liaise with any administration support.
* Assist with monitoring the performance and work throughput of any administration support thereby ensuring standards are maintained and deadlines are met.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
* CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent.
* Significant previous experience as a Paraplanner
* Accuracy, numeracy, attention to detail.
* Clear and concise communication skills – oral and written.
* Ability to meet deadlines/work within restricted timescales.
Nice-to-have
* Working towards CII Level 6 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent
