Manufacturing Management Recruitment - Elevation Recruitment Group - Business Manager
Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading industrial manufacturer as they look to appoint an experienced Interim Production Manager to support with an operational improvement drive.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced assignment, suited to an individual who can quickly assess current performance, implement robust improvements and leave a lasting impact on the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Take full ownership of day-to-day production operations while leading targeted optimisation activity
* Review existing processes, identify bottlenecks and implement practical, sustainable improvements
* Embed best-practice manufacturing methodologies across the site
* Lead, motivate and engage production teams to deliver against output, quality and safety targets
* Introduce and track meaningful KPIs and performance reporting
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma or similar)
* Support the senior leadership team through a period of operational change
* Ensure full compliance with H&S, environmental and regulatory standards
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven background in Production or Manufacturing Management roles
* Demonstrable success delivering tangible efficiency and performance improvements
* Strong CI capability with a pragmatic, hands‑on approach
* Confident communicator, able to influence at all levels of the organisation
* Available to step into an interim role and deliver results at pace
