Job Description
3. Developing an in-depth understanding of all AP processes and requirements from the AP team and analysing the needs of the department.
4. Assist with implementation of ERP as and when required.
5. Assisting with improvement initiatives to advance month end reporting timing.
6. Assisting with analysis and projects as required.
7. Assisting with payment runs (BACS and on-line banking) ensuring payments through e-banking are made on a timely basis through the relevant platform when required.
8. Dealing with supplier queries.
9. Processing supplier invoices as required.
10. Answer all supplier queries regarding invoicing.
11. Monthly reconciliations across multiple accounts.
12. Balancing accounts as and when required.
The Successful Applicant
13. Minimum A levels standard
14. Minimum of 3 years experience of Accounts payable processes including purchase invoice processing and supplier statement reconciliations in a busy accounts department.
15. Experience of Implementation of an ERP system
16. Experience with reporting month end results within 5 working days
17. Proficient in the use of MS
18. Demonstrate experience of using an electronic system for invoice matching.
19. Time management and able to work in a fast paced environment
20. Report writing/presentation skills
21. Teamwork and cooperation in an a fast paced environment working with internal and external teams;
22. Strong drive and proactive mindset with the ability to work independently;
23. Excellent communication and telephone skills;
24. Willingness to learn. High level of self-awareness to identify own gap of competencies/knowledge and ability to self-learn;
25. Autonomy and initiative to propose and lead projects;

36. Salary between £25,000 - £27,500, depending on experience
