A Little More About Your Role…
As an Assistant Consultant in the EIA team, you will support the management and delivery of environmental consultancy services to various clients. Your responsibilities include coordinating and providing technical input into EIAs, as well as undertaking broader environmental management tasks for different projects.
1. Assisting project managers in coordinating site selection reports for offshore wind farms, communicating with technical specialists to develop mitigation measures.
2. Implementing the latest approaches to digital EIA.
3. Coordinating land access for EIA surveys, such as archaeological investigations.
4. Contributing to stakeholder engagement strategies.
5. Assisting in finalizing Environmental Statements for submission.

What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate…
* A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant environmental discipline with a focus on EIA and/or SEA.
* Postgraduate experience in a similar role within the UK or comparable environmental planning system.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and high computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office.
* Understanding of health and safety standards.
* Experience or interest in assisting with specialist environmental surveys (e.g., ecology, noise, air quality).
* Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally if needed.
* Knowledge of UK environmental and planning legislation related to EIA.
* Postgraduate qualification in environmental science, planning, or related field.
* Practical knowledge of technical disciplines involved in EIA.
* Membership of IEMA or similar professional body.
