From the outset you can expect to be involved in, and not limited to, the following:

* liaising with internal and external customers on Quality concerns

* monitoring sub-contractors and all inspection activities
* approving incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
* approving in-process production by confirming specifications conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor
* approving finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for rework; confirming rework
* dealing with document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing rework and waste
* keeping measurement equipment in working condition by following operating instructions and arranging maintenance and repairs
* creating and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment
* managing non-conformities and help to address them, managing corrective and preventative actions and organising their implementation
* Experience within a similar role.
* Knowledge of Quality tools and systems e.g. Six Sigma, Lean, EFQA etc.
* Proven relevant experience as a QA Engineer.
* ISO:9001:2015 Internal Auditor.
* Understanding of FIDIC and or NEC3 contracts.
* Working knowledge of Project Management protocols and standards.
* Experience of managing multiple projects at one time at differing stages.
* Experience of developing and implementing processes and procedures.
* Experience leading investigations / problem solving.
* High level of competence in MS Office products.
* Sound welding knowledge.
* Knowledge of ISO 14000 and OSHAS 45001.
* Chartered Quality status.
* NEBOSH.
* Knowledge in fabrication and tank & pressure designs.
* Previous experience of working in a multinational team.
* Previous experience in a highly regulated industry.
* Ability to communicate in French.

Within a wider team of professionals, you will have responsibility to ensure our final products are safe, reliable, and meet our customers’ expectations whilst keeping our manufacturing processes as effective and cost-efficient as possible.
You will test processes, monitor quality standards, create documentation, devise quality tests and define the criteria a test result should meet.
As one of our Quality Engineers you will need to engage with a variety of stakeholders at every part of the manufacturing process. You will work closely with design teams, suppliers, manufacturing teams, customers, and more.
Through a proactive approach you will monitor the quality of a process and play a key role in looking for opportunities for improvements.
