Pegasus Group welcomes applications for our 2026 Graduate Training Scheme. Join our dynamic Planning team in Cirencester to work on a variety of projects for diverse clients. This scheme offers valuable exposure and a supportive training environment to start your career.
Please note that due to changes in Government legislation we are unable to fulfil the remuneration requirements for Graduate level, therefore unable to accept applications from individuals who hold a student or Graduate Visa. We continue to support colleagues at later stages in their career requiring work sponsored Visas.
What we are looking for
We are looking for candidates to hold an RTPI accredited degree or a similar relevant degree in Geography, Town Planning/Urban Planning or Built Environment. We seek graduates who can demonstrate:
* A logical and analytical approach
* Great problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to use your own initiative and to think outside the box
Work experience in Town/Urban Planning would be advantageous but is not essential as you’ll be learning your new role on the job with support from our Graduate Training Scheme.
Role description
As a Graduate Town Planner, you will work closely with the Planning team in the delivery of wide-ranging planning consultancy services on a variety of projects and schemes. You’ll have the opportunity to prepare, submit and negotiate planning applications and statements, support public consultations and site visits, and provide professional advice to clients, local planning authorities and other statutory bodies. You will gain valuable experience across a range of sectors and client types to support your development.
