· As a care coordinator you will be responsible for organising how service users receive the care that they need. This involves allocating care workers to service users, often based on a member of staff's level of experience and specialist skills.
· You will is spend time in the office creating rotas for care staff. This involves making decisions about how to best use care staff's time to ensure that staff travel time is kept to a minimum and service users receive continuity in their care.
· You will also spend time managing service user files, staff files and management of the office. As coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring that all staff have received the training that they need in order to carry out their duties safely.
· You will be able to communicate with professionals, such as nurses, social workers and occupational therapists, Doctors who are also involved in providing care and support services. This team working is essential to ensure that service users receive the support that they need in every aspect of their lives.
· Due to the nature of the duties, you will spend most of your working day in office.

Pay: £17,493.11-£33,836.99 per year
