The Role
:
As a Conservation Architect, you will handle diverse projects, encompassing cultural, educational, and religious sectors, within a renowned AJ practice.
Duties:
1. Lead and manage conservation projects across various scales and sectors.
2. Assist senior project leads with daily project management across all RIBA stages.
3. Delegate and oversee architectural assistants' tasks.
4. Coordinate with sub-consultant teams as needed.
5. Maintain strong, supportive relationships with clients throughout projects.
6. Manage on-site project execution and act as contract administrator.
7. Engage in business development, networking, and tender contributions.
Requirements:
8. Previously worked as an Architect, Conservation Architect or in a similar role.
9. Part 3 qualified with over 3 years of experience in a UK practice.
10. Essential experience in buildings conservation with technical proficiency in condition surveys and specifying repairs.
11. AABC / RIBA SCA accreditation, or willingness to obtain accreditation.
12. A deep understanding of building conservation, excellent design, and technical detailing skills.
13. Experienced in RIBA stages 4 & 5.
14. Strong knowledge of UK Building and Planning regulations.
15. Skilled in AutoCAD and NBS
16. BIM Conservation experience desirable.
