* 1.0 WTE – 37 hours per week
* Within the Adult Community and Rehabilitation Speech and Language Therapy Service Home First team
* Working within a small team dedicated to providing acute SLT care at home.
Duties & responsibilities:
To provide a comprehensive service including assessment, diagnosis and appropriate management to adults with acquired communication and swallowing difficulties referred for urgent SLT care at home
Key requirements:
A qualified SLT wishing to consolidate and develop skills in the field of adult acquired disorders.
Evidence of significant post registration professional practice experience to undertake and fulfill the key areas for this post
A SLT degree qualification or equivalent and HCPC registration is essential for this post
Car driver is essential
