Role Overview
Lloyds Wealth aims to improve the way financial advice is offered by making it more affordable, accessible and impactful for more people. We’re looking for a Finance Manager who will bring influential insight, trusted advice, and strong financial control to the business. This role offers flexibility in how you make your impact: whether that’s leading and developing a team of finance professionals to shape and deliver our operating model, and/or contributing as a senior functional specialist. Responsibilities
* Develops and/or delivers budget plans for own area with guidance from senior colleagues.
* Manage relationships with important internal customers and act as their business partner, while taking guidance from senior colleagues.
* Analyses key themes using data from a wide range of sources and identifies possible impacts on the business.
* Writes and edits materials for a variety of target populations, tailoring the tone and content to match the needs and expectations of each audience.
* Delivers prescribed outcomes for a designated area of financial control by working within established systems.
* Grows own capabilities by pursuing and investing in personal development opportunities and develops the capabilities of direct reports by working within existing development framework; provides specialised training or coaching in area of expertise to others throughout the organisation.
* Identifies shortcomings and suggests improvements to existing processes, systems and procedures, then delivers a plan for a small element of a change management programme with guidance from a project/programme manager.
* Sets short term objectives and helps manage the performance of direct reports by working within performance management systems.
* Develops procedures and interprets and applies policy for area of expertise to achieve specified outputs, or advises the wider business on application of policy, then monitors implementation of those procedures within the organization.
* Analyses specified problems and issues to find the best technical and/or professional solutions.

We operate under the Senior Managers and Certification Regime as a solo‑regulated firm and if this role is classed as a Certified Role under that regime you will be subject to enhanced vetting and will have a number of additional conduct and regulatory duties to adhere to, as well as certifying at least annually that you are fit and proper to perform this role.
