Warehouse Operative.
Job Summary:
Join our team at Interactive Ireland Ltd, a company established in 2002, specialising in providing strategic sales and marketing solutions for global brands in various sectors including Laundry, Homecare, Health, and Beauty, Stationery and Greeting Cards. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse facilities to support the distribution of products across different retail channels.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the day-to-day operational Logistics activities run smoothly and efficiently.
Loading and unloading vehicles, picking, packing, shrink wrapping, labelling, and palletising products.
Support teams with internal moves, additions, and changes.
Responsible for performing the physical or administrative/physical tasks of stock management.
Operate Forklift truck and other equipment for materials handling within the warehouse.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Essential Criteria:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Proficiency in basic maths for inventory management tasks.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and materials handling techniques.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems.
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
Excellent follow through skills, coupled with strong organisational skills and solid communication and interpersonal skills.
Forklift License – Counter Balance and/or Reach Forklift Licence.
Ready, willing, and able to deliver excellence independently or collaboratively.
Basic knowledge of warehouse safety and operations.
Be an analytical thinker who can help organize and complete tasks.
Be innovative and self-motivated, with a keen ability to ask questions, as well as a self-directed learner.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team.
Ability to pay meticulous attention to detail.
Able to lift and move heavy boxes, utilising operational equipment available.
Desirable Criteria:
Previous experience working in a Warehouse or similar environment.
Knowledge working with warehouse scanning and barcoding system.
Previous experience working at Goods In with knowledge of stock management.
