Research Impact Fellow – Nature and Climate Impact Team
Position: full‑time or part‑time, fixed‑term contract, funded until 31 March 2027. The role can be undertaken with immediate effect.
Salary: £43,482 to £48,822 per annum on Grade F, depending on knowledge, skills and experience.
Work flexibility: hybrid working arrangement; availability of part‑time hours or job‑sharing arrangements.
Role
Faculty for Environment, Science and Economy. The Fellow will be a lead member of the Nature and Climate Impact Team, under the direction of Professor Gail Whiteman. The successful candidate will focus on driving impact in the Digital Technologies sector and collaborate with other Fellows leading work in food and consumer packaging, electronics and related areas.
* Develop and implement research‑informed strategies, events and campaigns to promote low‑carbon and nature‑positive initiatives.
* Engage with key stakeholders and businesses to advance sustainability outcomes.
* Supervise and support the work of other Fellows, acting as team leader when required.
Qualifications
* PhD or equivalent qualification/experience in a relevant field.
* Demonstrated experience with corporate sustainability initiatives in the Digital Technology sector.
* Ability to design and deliver research programmes and methodologies that support science‑based solutions.
* Strong collaborative and leadership skills, with experience supervising others.
