About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with needs such as autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties. You’ll help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, contributing to a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Work 1:1 or in small groups to provide targeted academic and emotional support
Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation under teacher guidance
Contribute to individual support plans and monitor pupil progress
Build meaningful relationships that foster confidence and independence
Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
Qualifications:
Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals is desirable but not essential
Strong communication, patience, and resilience
Genuine interest in SEN and child development
An up-to-date CV and enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply)
