Job Description
As a Product Introduction Engineer, you will work within a team of Product Managers, Software Developers, and Quality Assurance professionals. Your role is pivotal in bridging the gap between product development and project implementation, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between our Sheffield and Scunthorpe sites. The goal is to facilitate the smooth delivery of Synectics’ software, features, modules, and products into project teams.
This role involves technical planning, meticulous documentation management, tracking new client systems from inception to deployment, and fostering robust communication channels to guarantee the delivery of stable and scalable systems tailored to our clients' needs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring our product introductions meet high standards of quality and efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the initial implementation of new software modules.
2. Foster effective communication and collaboration between the Sheffield Technology Centre (STC) and the Scunthorpe Operations Centre (SOC) to ensure transparency and seamless product handover, resulting in efficient and quality service to customers.
3. Maintain working relationships across product and project teams for seamless planning, communication, and integration.
4. Understand customer business, technical, and operational requirements and align them with Synectics’ solutions.
5. Understand the configuration of Synergy systems to meet customer specifications.
6. Develop and maintain knowledge of Synectics solutions, becoming a subject matter expert.
7. Coordinate across departments to ensure timely project delivery.
8. Track progress of new client systems from sales through deployment.
9. Create detailed documentation and checklists for system delivery.
10. Collaborate with teams to tailor documentation for each client, reflecting their system architecture.
11. Produce technical handover documentation for stakeholders.
12. Organize all documentation for easy access and future reference.

Qualifications and Experience
* Experience providing technical solutions for enterprise clients.
* Experience delivering IP network-based projects.
* Understanding of software development lifecycle, QA, and hardware integration.
* Technical training in software environments.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, IP networking, Windows Domains, VMs, system backups, firewalls, and security.
* Beneficial: Experience with video storage, digital video, data management, and Cloud technologies.
