Position Overview
The firm is seeking a Family Paralegal (Domestic Abuse) to support solicitors in handling cases related to domestic violence and family disputes. The role involves assisting in case progression, legal documentation, and client interaction in a high‑responsibility environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Assisting solicitors in managing domestic abuse and family law cases
* Drafting correspondence and preparing legal documents
* Supporting case progression and maintaining case files
* Liaising with clients, courts, and third parties
* Attending hearings (as a note‑taker or assistant, where required)
* Handling administrative and legal support tasks efficiently
Eligibility
* Prior experience in family law/domestic abuse cases preferred
* Understanding of legal aid processes (desirable)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work under pressure and manage sensitive matters
* Detail‑oriented with good organisational skills
