Sterling PVCU is one of the North West's leading manufacturers. We produce windows, doors and conservatories, as well as providing an installation service. It is privately owned, and over 30th years of continuous successful trading. We are looking to recruit an individual as an Apprentice Accounts Assistant to support further growth and deliver a positive impact within the Accounts department. Minimal experience within a busy, fast-paced environment would be preferred.
This role requires excellent organisation, computer and time management skills, and some experience within the customer service industry communicating via face-to-face, email and telephone would be beneficial.
The successful candidate will be enrolled onto full AAT level 2 and 3 qualifications, including at minimum, weekly college sessions to prepare for exams, so an interest in accountancy is essential.
As you progress within your qualifications, plenty of opportunity for further development and responsibility is provided.
Basic duties and responsibilities include:
§ Sage Line 50 Data – inputting, reconciliations, imports and exports.
§ Sales ledger – printing, reviewing and reconciling.
§ Purchase ledger – price checking, matching, inputting and querying with suppliers.
§ Adhoc office duties ( answering inbound calls, printing, scanning, filing)

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30.
