Support Worker - Southfields
Southfields offers overnight short breaks for people with learning disabilities and complex medical health needs aged sixteen and above. We are seeking a Support Worker to provide a nurturing and safe environment that promotes emotional and physical well-being. The role requires flexibility, collaborative working, and a commitment to improving outcomes for individuals.
You will work with a small team to ensure smooth shift operations, providing stimulating activities and ensuring safety, comfort, and reassurance for visitors. The shifts are flexible, including day and night shifts, with two weekends per month.
Requirements include holding a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) or willingness to achieve this within two years, and completion of the Care Certificate if not already held. Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, knowledge of safeguarding and adult protection, and personal responsibility are essential.
