Cysgod Y Coed (formerly the Monmouthshire Pupil Referral Service) is a growing service that is working alongside the Local Authority to continue to strive for excellence, in a provision that prioritises wellbeing. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner to our service. Applications are sought from innovative, enthusiastic teachers who are committed to inclusion.
Cysgod Y Coed is committed to developing the potential of all staff and pupils. A full programme of training and support helps foster the trauma-informed and restorative practice we know underpins sound pedagogy. The successful candidates will contribute significantly to curriculum reform and inclusion practice within an experienced, open and collaborative team.
Cysgod Y Coed is based across two newly refurbished sites near Chepstow and in Abergavenny. EOTAS medical pupil
groups will be developed in the North and the South of the county.
There are currently two permanent roles available. Bases will
be in either Abergavenny or Chepstow.
This may change in the future if the service location needs to
relocate. Relocation or disturbance expenses will not be paid if
this happens.
A full driving licence and access to a car are essential for this
role which involves visiting pupils across Monmouthshire.
Successful candidates may be required to work out of one or a
number of bases and across EOTAS and PRU aspects of the
service.
