Job Role:
Taylor Woodrow is recruitingfor a Digital Information Manager to work on our framework with Network Rail. Reporting to the Senior ProjectManager, the Digital Information Manager will work as part of the teamdelivering the Western geotechnical and off-track drainage work as part of the Wales and Western region’s £2bnprogramme of works over the next eight years.
Duties:
·Understand and communicate how BIM will effect project workflows,deliverables and project management throughout Taylor Woodrow.
·Manage and coordinate BIM standards development, implementation, andenforcement on all related BIM projects, files and models, for both ourCommercial and Industrial groups.
·Develop a work plan/roadmap for the development, implementation, andquality assurance checks needed for full BIM integration within projectassigned in Taylor Woodrow.
·Manage Information exchange data for the Project according to Plan OfWork (RIBA, CIC, etc)
·Production of Responsibility Matrix and management of InformationDelivery Plans through job lifecycle.
·Master Information delivery plan(MIDP) dependencies and production ofInformation exchange data sets at stage end.
·Implement the following standards: ISO19650 Part 1- Part2-Part3-Part4-Part 5, BS17412, PAS1192 part6. Previous knowledge of BS/PAS 1192 isoptional. Knowledge of BS8536:2020 and ISO 16739 and ISO10303 part 22/42/43.Survey Strategy: ISO19107, ISO19111, ISO19115, ISO19130, ISO19157, ISO19166.
·Manage workflows of other disciplines within Digital Engineering(VDC/BIM/GIS).
·Assist in developing and enforcing BIM documentation and workflow processstandards
PersonSpecification
·Previous experience in the implementation andmanagement of digital engineering within a construction environment
·Experience working on a rail project isadvantageous but not essential
1. Thorough understanding of industry standards: BS 1192:2007, PAS 1192-2:2013 and PAS 1192-3:2014 is mandatory
