Reports to Financial Reporting Manager The purpose of this position is to assist with the routine day-to-day accounting of fund structures under the direction of a Financial Reporting Manager. Key responsibilities: Supporting a team of accountants in administering and accounting for corporate and fund structures in the Real Estate industry Assist with bookkeeping entries and invoice postings in financial systems such as eFront FIA, Yardi and RealPage Inputting client payments on a variety of banking platforms, ensuring strict adherence to the Aztec control environment Prepare periodic bank reconciliations and provide or source supporting documentation evidencing transactions Assisting with the preparation of client deliverables such as cashflow reporting, management accounts and financial statements, adhering to client and statutory deadlines Liaising with clients and assisting in responding to auditor queries Skills, knowledge, expertise: The candidate should have a desire to study towards a relevant professional qualification such as ACA or ACCA (supported by the Aztec Group) Sound technical financial services knowledge (to be supported through the Aztec Academy) Computer literacy is essential, in particular Excel Graduate degree or AAT experience is desirable Interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues and clients We will provide the training, both in house for relevant technical knowledge and also for professional qualifications to enhance both your professional development and ability to provide sound accountancy services. You will need to be quick to learn new systems and great with people, as close working relationships between our colleagues and clients are at the heart of what we do.
