THE COMPANY

The internal events team work closely to bring industry specialists together, offering career advice and guidance.
THE ROLE
They are now looking for a Senior Event Coordinator to join their team on a contract basis to undertake the following duties :
* Taking the lead in supporting planning and delivering a broad calendar of events
* Managing events bookings using an internal event booking system
* Liaising with external event suppliers
* Negotiating rates with suppliers
* Overseeing day to day event logistics
* Dealing with any event related problems
* Assisting with event expectations
* Briefing any support staff for events
* Working with internal teams such as finance and marketing
* Ensuring all events comply with health and safety policies
* Undertaking risk assessments
* Producing routine event evaluation reports
* Continuing support on site
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering corporate events end to end, having exposure to the full life cycle of a project. You will have strong organisation skills and excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi task whilst working under pressure.
