Contract: Permanent Closing date: 2nd July 2025 Recruitment Partner: samantha.bramhall@boots.co.uk Location: Nottingham Support Office (frequent travel to Weybridge and London required) About the role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner to join our International HR Team, supporting our UK based corporate teams and international business areas. This role will focus on aligning HR strategies with the needs of our international operations, including our businesses across LATAM, UK, Europe and Asia. The ideal candidate will be internationally minded, with a strong generalist HR background. As a key member of our central HR team, you will work closely with local HR teams, business leaders, and employee representatives to drive effective HR strategies, foster organizational growth, and maintain a strong and compliant HR framework across diverse regions. Your ability to navigate complex, multicultural environments and bring HR solutions that align with business needs will be critical to your success. You will provide effective and current advice relating to HR practices, legal compliance, and current policy. Ensure the VP HR International and relevant Business leaders are kept abreast of current and planned activities and potential exposure and mitigations. You will also participate in HR projects as required. Key responsibilities To drive the delivery of the people agenda at a business and functional area level. Partner with business leaders across various international markets (LATAM, Germany, UK, Asia) to align HR strategies with business objectives and support organizational goals. Provide expertise and guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with local regulations and best practices. Take responsibility for development of - and compliance with – policies/procedures and current legislation (to include Grievance, Disciplinary, Maternity/Adoption, Paternity, Parental leave, Agency Workers etc.) Lead and support talent acquisition initiatives, ensuring the recruitment of top-tier talent to meet business needs. Work on leadership development initiatives to foster a strong leadership pipeline, ensuring the identification of leaders and the development of succession plans to support long-term organizational growth Provide day-to-day HR support across a range of HR activities primarily for UK based teams, as well as international teams as/when needed. Act as a cultural ambassador, ensuring that HR practices are culturally relevant and aligned with regional differences. Lead change management initiatives and foster a culture of collaboration and inclusion Work closely with international HR teams, finance, legal, communications and other stakeholders to ensure HR programs and policies are effective and compliant across regions. What you'll need to have Proven experience as an HR Business Partner. Demonstrated expertise in all areas of HR in multinational settings. Significant experience working in or with international markets, especially in LATAM, Germany, the UK, and Asia. Understanding of diverse cultural and business practices is crucial. Partnering with / working in the German market and dealing with Worker's Councils is highly desirable. Demonstrates a strong curiosity to deeply understand the business, with the ability to leverage commercial acumen and strategic insight to drive HR initiatives that align with organizational goals. Ability to adapt to changing business needs and international environments. Proactive and solution orientated approach Ability to deal with ambiguity and changing priorities in fast paced, dynamic and international environment. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications (e.g., CIPD) are a plus. Proficiency in English is essential.
