About the Role & Responsibilities:
* We have a range of exciting roles available, including care in the community, care at home, and care home work.
* Experience working with a variety of service users is desirable, including those with learning disabilities, elderly, dementia, physical disabilities, and some challenging behaviour.
* You'll help and care for people who need support, building meaningful relationships and promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
* Explore the breathtaking beauty of the Scottish islands during your time off.
* Assist service users with daily tasks such as meal preparation, medication administration, moving and handling, household tasks, and general domiciliary care.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
* Collaborate effectively with other team members and professionals to ensure the highest standard of care.
* Demonstrate enthusiasm, resilience, and a genuine interest in helping people.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a care home or in a community care/care at home environment
* Compassionate and caring towards others with a desire to help people
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
* Ability to work under pressure and stay calm in stressful situations
* Strong ability to work independently and use your own initiative
* Moving and handling training and medication administration training
* Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
* Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
