Aspen Ireland require a professional, high-performing Senior Contracts Manager for their growing team. Based in Holywood, Aspen Ireland have on-going plans in place to construct over 600 new nursing home bedrooms across multiple locations in the next three years. We currently have one Contracts Manager and looking for another with the expansion of the business.
To join our team as a Senior Contracts Manager, you will require demonstrable experience working at a senior level, assuming responsibility for overseeing end-to-end building and construction projects as well as the management of Aspen Ireland's Construction team. You will be accountable for all contract-related matters, ensuring that as a business the highest level of quality nursing homes are delivered on time and comply with the necessary legal and regulatory guidelines.
Key Duties and Requirements.
* Provide leadership to the Construction team, ensuring the effective management, compliance, control and deployment of the team.
* Define and embed a construction strategy to ensure the smooth delivery of all projects.
* Ensure that all construction activities are effectively managed within an allocated budget.
* Oversee the working partnerships with third party providers and sub-contractors to ensure that all contractual terms are delivered.
* Ensure that the construction team is fully engaged in the process of determining and agreeing development for site-start programmes, quality standards and timescales.
* Ensure that each of the roles within the team are undertaken in accordance with the relevant job descriptions.
* Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Managing Manager.
Who are we looking for?
As Senior Contracts Manager, you will have a strong understanding of the building and construction industry, as well as experience leading and managing a team.
You will also possess:
* Minimum 5 years' senior management experience
* At least 3 years' project management or Site Manager experience
* The ability to coordinate various construction-related teams
* Experience dealing with unexpected challenges, providing timely resolutions
* Excellent communication, judgement and decision-making skills
* Well organised and able to meet competing deadlines
A Full and valid UK Drivers Licence is required to fulfil the travelling requirements of this role.
Subject to suitability to the role, pay will be in the region of £60,000- £70,000 per annum. Achieving handover dates whilst remaining within budget is our main goal – this could potentially result in bonus payments.
