Person specification

Qualifications

Essential criteria

1. Registered with GMC with a licence to practice
2. Member of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (or equivalent)

Desirable criteria

3. Distinctions, prizes, awards, scholarships, other degrees
4. BSCCP accreditation
5. ATSM in oncology

Training

Essential criteria

6. ST5 or above

Desirable criteria

7. Undertaken clinical audit

Experience

Essential criteria

8. Broad based competence of Gynaecology and Obstetrics
9. Competent at managing second on call on Labour Ward
10. Personal log book demonstrating surgical experience and outcome data

Desirable criteria

11. Evidence of participation in clinical management activities
