Job Description - Building Surveyor (251261)
Location: Wellington Street, Leeds (hybrid role: 2 days in office, rest from home). National travel expected a few days per month.
Employment: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hpw)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience) with benefits.
About the role: As our Asset Building Surveyor, you'll be part of the Building Surveying and Asset Delivery team, managing projects from start to finish, providing creative solutions, analyzing stock data, and working with external partners to improve housing assets.
Key responsibilities:
* Undertake building surveys and inspections, resolving defect issues and reconfiguring schemes.
* Analyze stock data and prepare investment plans.
* Deliver projects from initial findings to completion.
* Evaluate financial aspects of schemes.
* Attend site meetings and communicate with stakeholders.
Requirements:
* MRICS or MCIOB accreditation, or equivalent experience.
* Experience managing projects from inception to completion.
* Expertise in property condition surveys and remediation works.
* Knowledge of building construction, design, and regulations.
* Experience with tender documentation, AutoCAD Lt, and MS Project.
