Science Teacher (QTS) : Prittlewell
Randstad Education is looking for a motivated and versatile Science Teacher to join a historic and well:connected school community in Prittlewell. Located at the heart of the Southend area, this role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys a fast:paced environment and has a passion for making Science accessible to all learners.
Role Overview
* Position: Science Teacher (KS3 and KS4)
* Location: Prittlewell, Essex
* Pay Rate: GBP140 : GBP170 per day (Weekly PAYE)
* Start Date: January 2026
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high:quality Science lessons that meet the needs of a diverse student population.
* Bridge the gap between theory and real:world application, making Science relevant to everyday life.
* Focus on student engagement and progress, particularly in preparing Year 11 classes for their GCSE practicals and written exams.
* Work collaboratively with the department to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
* Utilise effective classroom management strategies to foster a focused and respectful learning environment.
Requirements
To be successful in this Prittlewell:based role, you must have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* A strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
* A proactive approach to teaching and a willingness to contribute to the schools extra:curricular STEM clubs.
* An Enhanced DBS check (on the Update Service or willing ).
* The ability to commute easily to the Prittlewell/Southend Central area.
