An exciting opportunity has arisen due to business growth for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join the firm’s central Glasgow office to work with public liability, RTA, and employer liability claims.
This position is full-time (35 hours per week) with a successful firm offering attractive benefits and genuine career progression opportunities.

Job Description
Your responsibilities will include:
* Maximise income per case through the recovery of damages to include hire, repairs, recovery and storage.
* Prepare and conduct the case thoroughly ensuring the ingathering of all requisite evidence.
* Deliver a level of client care in accordance with service level agreements.
* Report issues, problems and compliance breaches in a timely manner to the appropriate level of management.
* Ensure compliance with information security policies including data confidentiality and the operational security of the information systems used.
* Any ad hoc or additional duties as deemed fit and appropriate by the Management Team for this post and the associated level of responsibility attached to it.
Person Specification
* Must be admitted in Scotland – Newly Qualified (NQ).
* Understanding of credit hire would be desirable.
* Court litigation experience including an understanding of Sheriff Court Procedures.
* Conduct hearings in the Sheriff Courts.
* Ability to deal with difficult clients, communicate effectively, and where appropriate give legal advice in relation to their claim.
* Experience in demonstrating effective teamwork within a commercial environment.
* Ability to identify where problems may arise and adopt a solution-focused approach.
