A fast-growing, award-winning artisan food company is looking for a Customer Account Manager (Wholesale) to join their friendly team on a 14-month maternity cover basis. This is your chance to work with a brand that's all about quality, creativity, and care – managing key wholesale and tertiary retail accounts across the UK and Ireland while helping to drive commercial growth. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and developing key wholesale accounts, maximising sales opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service. You'll be the vital link between customers and the business, ensuring relationships are strong, strategies are sound, and growth targets are met. Key Responsibilities Account Strategy & Planning Create and manage annual sales and expenditure budgets for each account Develop tailored marketing and promotional plans with the Sales and Marketing teams Conduct monthly sales and spend reforecasts Contribute to new business development strategies Account Management & Growth Build and nurture long-term, values-aligned relationships with wholesale partners Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow revenue and market reach Actively target and secure new accounts to expand distribution Ensure customers have the support and tools to deliver products in excellent condition Liaise with third-party sales agencies to drive performance Governance, Reporting & Admin Provide monthly sales reports and variance analysis to the Sales Manager Represent customer perspectives in internal decision-making Conduct annual reviews of marketing plans and account performance Maintain accurate CRM records and handle all account administration efficiently Collaborate with operations and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment What You'll Need Experience in account management, ideally within wholesale or FMCG sectors Strong communication and relationship-building skills Commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and delivering growth Highly organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple priorities A collaborative, solutions-focused approach If you're ready to take your career somewhere a little more delightful, i'd love to hear from you
