As a Community Connector, you’ll work directly with individuals to help them build confidence, access local services, and re-engage with the world around them. You’ll be part of a compassionate team that works closely with volunteers and partner organisations to create lasting social connections. Could you be the person who helps someone take that first step? What will a day in the life of a Community Connector involve?
1. Meeting with individuals to understand their needs and offer tailored support.
2. Linking people with local services, activities, and community groups.
3. Working alongside volunteers to provide encouragement and practical help.
4. Building relationships with partner agencies to develop sustainable community networks.
To be a successful Community Connector, what will you need?
5. Excellent communication skills and a warm, empathetic approach.
6. Confidence working independently and as part of a team.
7. Knowledge of the local area and how communities operate.
8. A genuine passion for helping people overcome loneliness and build connections.
