Junior Service Technician (NVQ Level 3) £25,000 - £28,000 + Training + Progression + Excellent Overtime (1.5X) + Company Vehicle + Benefits
Location: Barnstaple, Devon
Are you a Junior Service Technician with an NVQ Level 3 or similar, looking for a dynamic role where you will receive specialist training on groundcare equipment and excellent progression opportunities up to team leader? On offer is the chance to join a rapidly expanding groundcare company that operates within the agricultural and commercial sectors. Established over 30 years ago, they are a reputable industry leader and are seeking a new Service Technician to join their team of 50 employees and support their growth.
In this role, you will work both in the field and in the workshop, servicing and repairing groundcare equipment such as lawnmowers and utility vehicles. Fieldwork is based around South Devon, with no overnight stays required, and a company van will be provided.
This position includes on-call Saturday rotas, approximately one Saturday every four weeks, paid at 1.5X overtime rate.
Role Responsibilities:
* Servicing and repairing groundcare equipment
* 50:50 split between fieldwork and workshop tasks
* Use of company vehicle for field service
* Working hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 in summer; 08:00 - 17:30 in winter
* On-call Saturday duty every four weeks at 1.5X overtime rate
Candidate Requirements:
* Junior Service Technician or similar
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
* Must be commutable to Barnstaple
