About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Drama Teacher with a passion for performance and a commitment to inspiring students’ creativity and confidence. The successful candidate will: Teach Drama across KS3 and KS4 (opportunities to contribute to KS5 Performing Arts where available). Plan and deliver exciting, practical lessons that build students’ confidence, teamwork, and presentation skills. Support school productions, drama clubs, and enrichment activities. Collaborate with colleagues in the Performing Arts Department to create an engaging curriculum and memorable performances. About the School A co-educational secondary school and sixth form in the London Borough of Redbridge. Excellent facilities including performance spaces and a supportive, creative school culture. Candidate Requirements QTS is not essential – applications welcome from experienced teachers, ECTs, and industry professionals. Degree or significant experience in Drama, Theatre Studies, Performing Arts, or a related field. Ability to inspire, engage, and motivate students through creative and inclusive teaching. Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills. A passion for performance and willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities.
