We are seeking an organised and experienced Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires excellent communication skills and a keen attention to detail, as you will be responsible for scheduling appointments, handling patient enquiries, and maintaining accurate records.
If you're also a registered dental nurse, this would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
* Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the practice
* Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations to optimise the dentist's schedule
* Answer phone calls and respond to patient queries in a professional manner
* Maintain patient records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate
* Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries
* Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management
* Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the practice
Skills
* Previous dental experience is essential, preferably in a healthcare setting
* Strong administrative skills with proficiency in using office software and equipment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £20,800.00-£23,296.00 per year
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
