SEND Teaching Assistant (Drama/Creative Focus)

We’re looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming team, supporting students with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs. You’ll play a key role in helping pupils build confidence, develop social skills, and engage in learning, using creativity and drama as powerful tools.

Your role will include:
Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups
Assisting with creative, and imaginative based activities

Helping to manage behaviour in a calm and positive way
Working closely with teachers and support staff to meet individual needs
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience working with young people (SEND/SEMH experience is ideal but not essential)
Has a creative background or interest in drama, theatre, or the arts
Is patient, adaptable, and empathetic
Can build strong, trusting relationships with students
Is passionate about inclusive education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
