We are currently supporting a secondary school in the St Helens area who are looking for a passionate Maths Teacher for a role starting after Easter until the end of the academic year. This role is open to both experienced educators and ECTs.
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a positive and inclusive learning environment whilst delivering all aspects of the mathematics national curriculum at Ks3 and Ks4. The right candidate should be able to effectively engage pupils with the subject by meeting the learning needs of mixed ability learners. You should be able to integrate efficiently into a new school and quickly settle into and contribute to both the faculty and the wider school community.
Key responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and structured lessons in line with the curriculum
* Support pupils of mixed abilities to achieve their potential
* Maintain strong behaviour management
* Assist with faculty duties as required
* Adhere to school policies and procedures
Essential requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Right to work in the UK
* Experience working within a UK Secondary School setting
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Ability to deliver age-appropriate and engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
* Enhanced DBS or willing to obtain one
