Job overview
Our Whiteoaks respite service operates 24/7, assisting clients at all hours. We seek enthusiastic and caring individuals to work various shifts including days, nights, and sleepovers. As a Support Worker, you will deliver high-quality care to enable clients to live their best lives, helping them fulfill their aspirations and ambitions. This homely service is located in Bradford.
Main duties of the job
The Role:
* Person Centred: Develop support plans reflecting clients' views and aspirations, reviewing and updating them as needed.
* Respectful: Support clients to live independently, supporting social visits, hobbies, activities, and skill development.
* Open: Communicate transparently with clients and team members, support quality inspections.
* Understanding: Provide personal care respecting clients' dignity, including assistance with washing, toileting, and continence.
* Dedicated: Keep accurate records, adhere to health and safety protocols, including manual handling, infection control, and risk assessments.

* Provide appropriate care and support according to care plans, including personal care.
* Maintain accurate records.
* Perform personal care and domestic duties as required.
* Meet physical requirements of the role, with adjustments considered for disabilities.
* Learn to use computer packages (Word, Outlook, Internet) and undertake relevant training.
