About the Role: Utilise a range of teaching methods and resources, including advanced practical experiments, data analysis, and research projects, to enhance student learning. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning journeys. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Chemistry examinations, ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria. Contribute to the development of the Chemistry curriculum and resources, integrating advanced chemical concepts and research findings. Foster a love of chemistry in students, encouraging them to develop their analytical and problem-solving skills. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Contribute to extracurricular activities and enrichment programs related to chemistry and scientific research. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry, including advanced topics. Demonstrated ability to teach across Key Stages 4 and 5, including A-Level. Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level Chemistry examinations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Ability to inspire and motivate high-achieving students.
