Main duties of the job
This is a key role within the Digital Projects and Programmes Team at Dorset County Hospital which is to provide project management support across a range of critical digital projects. The post holder will be required to have a high degree of tenacity in carrying out a wide range of activities to support the Project Managers in delivering their project efficiently and effectively.
The post will require use of a high level of initiative and ability to act independently. This is particularly regarding managing project actions and plans to ensure activities are delivered on time by the project team members.
The post-holder will be required to source and interpret information required to support projects including national guidance relating to project deliverables, system supplier policies and contractual agreement as well as internal and external organisational policies or agreements.

Education, Qualifications & Training
Essential criteria
* Studying for degree or equivalent qualifications and/or equivalent practical experience
* PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent practical experience
Desirable criteria
* Relevant qualifications or study e.g. Agile, ITIL etc.
Knowledge & Experience
Essential criteria
* Experience of working in a project environment
* Experience of working in the NHS or health sector in a project related capacity.
* Recent experience of supporting Digital projects
* Experience of supporting clinical or business change
* Experience of organising, minuting and tracking actions from meetings
* Proven team working
Desirable criteria
* Working knowledge of IT industry
* Knowledge of NHS clinical systems
* Experience of process mapping
* Proven supervisory skills
