Step into a leadership role where you’ll shape the delivery of high‑impact water and wastewater projects across the Thames Valley and London. As a Senior Project Manager within our Developer Services team, you’ll lead, inspire and develop a team of Project Managers driving best‑value solutions across a diverse portfolio ranging from £250k to £10m+ projects for developers, infrastructure providers and transport authorities.
Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate a team of Project Managers to deliver high‑quality projects safely, on time and within budget.
* Own project and programme performance, managing scope, schedules, costs and quality to drive successful outcomes.
* Embed and evolve best practice across project delivery, including processes, tools and ways of working.
* Champion a strong health, safety and environmental culture across all projects.
* Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, confidently presenting to senior audiences.
* Create a customer‑focused, accountable culture, adapting quickly to changing requirements to deliver excellent service.
Qualifications
* Proven experience leading and developing high‑performing teams within a project or operational environment with strong leadership and people management capability.
* Extensive background in construction or utilities project management, with a track record of delivering complex projects and leading multi‑disciplinary teams.
* Strong commitment to health and safety, with experience embedding a positive H&S culture across projects and teams.
* Commercially aware with experience in contract management and working closely with service providers to deliver successful outcomes.
* A confident communicator and collaborator, able to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders and work across teams to achieve shared goals.
* A proactive, solutions‑focused thinker who challenges the status quo, adapts to change and drives innovation to deliver value for customers and the wider business.
Benefits
* Annual salary between £60,000 and £70,000, depending on skills and experience.
* 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 28 with length of service (plus bank holidays).
