? We promise more than a job—we offer a career you can build.

1 – Who We Are

We’re the UK branch of ABMI, a French engineering consulting group with over 35 years of experience delivering high-level expertise in critical industries like nuclear energy, aerospace, and transportation. We don’t do everything—we specialize. And that makes all the difference.

ABMI is known for its deep technical knowledge and ability to adapt its skills to new sectors. Our strength lies in choosing focus over breadth. In the UK, we’re applying our nuclear expertise to projects with EDF, a long-standing client we’ve supported for years in France. That trust opened the door for us to expand—and now, we’re writing the UK chapter of this story.

We’re not here to fill seats. We’re here to deliver tailored engineering solutions that drive results. That’s the consulting mindset: we align with our partners’ challenges, and we bring the right people, the right tools, and the right strategy to move things forward.

As we grow, we remain anchored in our core values: expertise, integrity, and care for people—because our consultants are at the heart of everything we do.

2 – What You’ll Do?

You will join ABMI HPC technical team in Bristol, as Commissioning Engineer helping to shape a safe and efficient path from preparation through to execution of commissioning activities. You will work hand-in-hand with the Commissioning Delivery Team and collaborate with technical, oversight, and project delivery functions to establish strong regulatory controls and compliance measures.

* Ensure that equipment is delivered and commissioned successfully
* Support project objectives by providing timely updates, insights, and coordination across delivery milestones.
* Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders including commissioning delivery teams, operations, and contract partners.
* Conduct reviews of contractor and designer deliverables, commissioning documentation, design changes, and lists of deliverables (LOD).
* Contribute to the development of commissioning plans and preparation of detailed schedules.
* Ensure all activities meet internal procedures and comply with regulatory standards.
* Provide guidance and ensure compliance on temporary plant modifications to maintain safety and performance.

3 – Why Join Us?

At ABMI UK, we combine the strength of a well-established European engineering group with the agility of a human-sized team. Based in Bristol and still growing, we offer you the opportunity to be part of something meaningful from the ground up.

Here, you’ll join a consulting company, not a recruitment agency — a place where your expertise truly matters, and where your voice helps shape our future. We’re engineers working with engineers, and we understand what matters most to you:

* Gaining real technical experience on large-scale, high-impact projects
* Working in a supportive environment that values learning, collaboration, and curiosity
* Access to clear, structured career paths, with opportunities to grow into leadership or technical expert roles
* Personalized support and mentoring to help you develop your skills, expand your knowledge, and reach your professional goals

We believe your career is a journey — and we’re here to walk it with you

5 – Our Culture

At ABMI, we believe that culture is the foundation. It’s essential to understand who we are to know how we move forward and what drives us. It’s not about bragging, it’s what truly shapes our success. Here are our pillars:
