We are looking to recruit a Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join a growing first opinion veterinary practice in the South Coast city of Portsmouth in beautiful area of Hampshire
* full time working 4 days a week including 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota, no Sundays and no OOH.
* practice is purpose built to industry leading standards with the latest, up to date facilities and equipment.
* busy with interesting and varied caseload around 67% canine, 27% feline and less than 6% rabbit and exotic.
* good surgical load and would suit an experienced Vet with excellent consulting skills and looking for a role allowing more surgical days (at least 3 mornings of surgery a week)
* Join a growing team of 2 full time vets supported by a strong nursing team of 6 and 4 receptionists.
* Certificates actively encouraged with a caseload large enough to support them
* CPD allowance and RCVS, VDS and BVA memberships paid.
* well located in a beautiful area with city life of Portsmouth on the doorstep and surrounded with beaches and countryside
* Visa sponsorship available
Person Requirements
* Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
* Registered with the RCVS
* would suit an experienced Vet
* excellent consulting skills and looking for more surgical days
