Role Purpose
The Procurement Officer is responsible for buying goods and services at the best value, ensuring suppliers meet quality, cost, and delivery standards. The role supports the business by managing suppliers, contracts, and purchasing processes.
Key Responsibilities
· Source and purchase goods, works, and services in line with company needs.
· Obtain and compare supplier quotes to achieve best value.
· Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
· Raise purchase orders and track deliveries.
· Maintain supplier records and ensure compliance with policies.
· Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues.
· Work with colleagues to understand purchasing requirements.
· Help manage budgets, cost savings, and reporting.
Skills & Experience
· Previous experience in purchasing, supply chain, or similar role.
· Strong negotiation and communication skills.
· Good attention to detail and organisation.
· Ability to analyse costs and spot savings opportunities.
· Confident with Microsoft Office and purchasing/ERP systems.

Pay: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
