We are seeking a highly organisedand proactive Business Administrator to join our friendly team. This role isintegral to ensuring the smooth-running of medical administration, supportingthe Medical Team, and enhancing patient care through efficient processes.Aspart of this role, you will take on team leader responsibilities for a team ofMedical Support Administrators.

Main duties of the job
Team Leadership and Supervision:Provide leadership, support, and day-to-day management of a team of medicaladministrators, ensuring workload is distributed effectively.
Administrative Oversight: Overseepatient records, appointment scheduling, and correspondence handling.
Process Improvement: Develop andimplement improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery within theteam.
Compliance and Confidentiality:Ensure all administrative processes comply with Trust standards andguidelines.
Liaison and Communication: Act asa key point of contact between Medical Support Administrators, the MedicalTeam, external providers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communicationand workflow.
Staff Development: Supportrecruitment, training, and ongoing development of Medical SupportAdministrators, providing guidance and supervision as required.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* RSA 3 Word Processing or equivalent level of experience in practice.
* Shorthand or Speedwriting
* NVQ4 in administration or equivalent level administrative knowledge and experience
* GCSE English or equivalent
* Evidence of continuing professional and personal development
* ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence).
Experience
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Experience of managing administration staff
* Ability to prioritise workload and adapt to change when required
* Experience of working as part of a team Previous experience of working within an administrative or secretarial team
* Experience of dealing with confidential and complex information
* Ability to take accurate formal and informal minutes
* Demonstrate good numeracy and literacy skills
* Experience of general office routine and filing systems
* Previous NHS experience of working in a Healthcare or Social Care administrative setting
