Traffic Engineer – Rochford covering the Essex region (Field based)
Role
Full time, permanent
Responsibilities
* Maintain and rectify faults on Traffic Signals Units / Traffic Lighting Systems.
* Carry out maintenance works of Traffic Signals units / Traffic Light systems, detection boxes, Traffic Lights controllers, and participate in planned maintenance and "switch off" activities.
* Commissioning of Traffic Signals / Traffic Lighting equipment when required.
* Liaise with the customer(s) on-site to fault find, troubleshoot, and rectify various issues and problems with Traffic Signals / Traffic Light systems and units.
* Travel across the Essex region and be part of an on-call standby rota of 1-in-4 weeks (covering weekends and nights).
Reporting
Reporting to the Contract Manager.
