The International eCommerce Trading team fuels global growth by managing and optimising online product sales across 83 international markets. They drive exciting product launches, strategic promotions, and collaborate with leading third-party platforms to maximise sales and brand visibility worldwide. About the Role: As an International Trading Assistant, you will play a key role in driving website trading for our International markets. You will work closely with cross functional teams - Marketing, Product and Data where strong communication skills are essential to align strategies and maximise performance. With a focus on data-led decision making, you’ll ensure the customer journey is optimised, while supporting new key launches, key seasonal changes and emerging trends to enhance visibility and drive commercial success. What else is involved? Understanding your countries and maintaining a trading calendar (key events, promotions, moments etc.) Understanding customer’s mindset in your countries. Able to confidently understand and read web metrics. Monitoring competitors for key opportunities. Supporting to pull together weekly trade metrics & commentary. Suggesting opportunities to trade your countries by considering key localisation elements to help optimise sales performance. Supporting bestseller & product analysis. Supporting on pricing, service & operational analysis. Supporting content & campaign planning. Briefing in any service, FAQs & content changes to relevant teams. Further Details Uses data in order to support decision making, using tools like excel/google sheets. You will understand your customers and make recommendations to support sales growth. Develops a wide network of productive relationships around the business. Build a close understanding of the trading calendars & customer shopping behaviours in top countries. Supporting to Identify improvements for service & on-site customer experience. Supporting the onsite & offsite promotion of service messaging (delivery, payments…). Recommending additional online functionality and features. Project manage own workload, driving BAU and new opportunities identified. Attend all relevant internal and external meetings, maintaining accurate administration of key business documents. You’ll be doing all this from our Leicestershire Head Office. Analytical and a basic understanding of working with metrics, google sheets / excel & updating data A strong communicator, who is comfortable speaking to key contacts & sharing ideas in meetings. Good commercial understanding to help to identify and suggest tests to maximise performance. Taking a customer first approach. Able to suggest ideas for improvements and support to implement these on-site. Organised, thorough and keen attention to detail you’ll work well in a busy and fast moving ecommerce environment.
