The Role
We're looking for a Junior Content Creator with a passion for storytelling and social media to join our Brand & Marketing team. This is the perfect role for someone starting their career in content creation who is eager to learn, experiment, and grow their skills in a fast-paced, creative environment.
You'll primarily be responsible for shooting and editing vertical content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, but you'll also work on longer-form content such as customer case study videos, product demos, and event coverage. You'll collaborate with our marketing, sales, and product teams to bring ideas to life, helping us engage our audience and build our brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
* Shoot, edit, and publish short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms
* Support with filming and editing longer-form content, such as customer case studies and product training videos
* Capture high-quality product photography and behind-the-scenes imagery
* Assist in brainstorming and storyboarding creative content ideas that align with MHouse's brand and marketing campaigns
* Manage and maintain video, photography, and content equipment
* Stay up to date on social media trends, content styles, and platform best practices
* Support wider marketing activities when needed, including events and content shoots
Skills & Experience
* Some experience in video production and editing (can be through personal projects, freelance, or coursework)
* Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube content formats
* Basic skills in editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
* A creative eye for storytelling, framing, and visual style
* Strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines
* Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
* Basic motion graphics or animation skills
* Photography skills with experience editing in Lightroom or Photoshop
* Interest in the retail or technology sectors
