Specialist Clinical Pharmacist (Rotational)

Job Responsibilities
As the successful candidate you will be part of the Pharmacy team providing a clinical pharmacy service and directorate responsibilities to different specialties whilst also developing our clinical pharmacy service. During your training you will rotate through our many specialist/tertiary level services.
* Acute medicine/medical admissions
* Frailty
* Specialist Medicine including Haematology, Sexual health and HIV
* Critical Care
* Antimicrobial Stewardship
* Renal medicine and transplant
* Cardiology
* Specialist Surgery
* Major trauma and ED
Education and Qualifications
* Vocational 4 year masters degree
* 1 year pre registration training and experience
* Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council
* Post‑graduate diploma in clinical pharmacy or equivalent documented clinical experience
* Certificate in Independent Prescribing
Experience
* Post qualification experience in a relevant role practising as a pharmacist
* Current and relevant clinical knowledge
* Demonstrable commitment to CPD
* Experience in training of other healthcare professionals
* Experience in supervision of others
Skills
* Analysis of complex information relating to individual patients medication
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Ability to work as a team / demonstrable teamworking
* Ability to recognise own limitations and boundaries
* Negotiating and influencing skills
* Good time management skills and ability to prioritise workload
