Job Title: Revit Engineer Location: Glasgow Company: Dalkia UK Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Overview Dalkia UK is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Revit Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing and coordinating technical drawings in Revit and AutoCAD for Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) building services. You will be responsible for ensuring all designs meet internal quality standards, comply with industry requirements, and are delivered efficiently to support ongoing projects across various sectors. Job Purpose Working as part of our CAD team, you will take M&E engineer sketches and develop coordinated 2D and 3D drawings. You will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of integrated designs and assisting with clash detection using Navisworks. Aims and Objectives Convert engineering sketches and mark-ups into accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and Revit Ensure proper drawing management including sheet setup, storage, and file naming standards Independently deliver coordinated M&E service drawings with minimal supervision Support project teams in quantifying and producing auto take-offs Maintain consistent communication with the CAD Manager regarding issues, updates, and progress Key Responsibilities Create As-Installed, Line Schematics, Design and Construction Drawings based on verbal direction or marked-up sketches Produce plans, elevations, technical details, and overall building layouts Upload, archive and retrieve drawings in accordance with internal protocols and client-specific platforms Develop full 3D coordination drawings of M&E systems using Revit and Navisworks Generate Auto-Counts for design development and final accounts Report drawing-related queries to the BIM / CAD Manager and assist with quality assurance Support the team in scanning, printing and document preparation when required Health & Safety All employees are required to take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and others and must follow all instructions and procedures outlined by the company.
