Co-curricular Administrator (Music)
Location: Brighton
Salary: £13,798 per annum
Brighton College are seeking to appoint a Co-curricular Administrator (Music) on a part-time, permanent basis.
Main Purpose of the Role: Reporting to the Performing Arts Technical and Facilities Manager alongside working closely with the Director of Music, the Co-curricular Administrator (Music) will support the music department on the day-to-day operations within a busy department.
General Duties and Responsibilities
1. Compile and publish a weekly schedule for the Music Department (week ahead).
2. Attend the weekly College wide Week Ahead meeting.
3. Co-ordinate ensemble set up with the Performing Arts Music Technician, as directed by ensemble leaders and head of section.
4. Co-ordinate with the Theatre Operations Manager for set up cover needed during staff absences.
5. Co-ordinate with the Performing Arts Technical and Facilities Manager for specialised technical assistance needed, providing the request at least five weeks in advance.
6. Oversee the successful administration of all ensembles and the choral programme including room bookings and communication to both pupils and staff.
